So I think this might be my first ever negative review on Etsy in 14 years? Purchased this item back in mid May. Purchased through the app which did not show me the shop announcement about shipping delays. HOWEVER - the shipping delay was not a short couple of weeks - it was literally months. I had messaged the seller on June 13 just to check in to see if everything was ok and if they wanted to refund and received zero response. End of July came and I finally got an actual shipping notice with a tracking number. Shirt itself is a thick cotton and kind of itchy. Also arrived with what appears to be paint on the sleeve? See photo attached. I’m all for supporting small sellers especially in hard times but better communication would have been greatly appreciated and I just want to give folks a heads up in case they want to purchase.

I placed my order on May 23. Nearly a month later, I contacted the seller because I had not received my order. She said she had been busy with her father's affairs and hoped to get my order out to me the following Friday. It is now July 17 (nearly 2 months after my initial order) and I have received neither my order nor any further communication. There was no mention in her shop when I purchased of family issues and I had to dig a month later to find anything on the seller's page about shipping being delayed. While I can appreciate dealing with family issues and sympathize with the seller for all she may be going through, I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and how things turned out. If the seller was so busy, wouldn't it have been better to put the shop in vacation mode until they could fulfill orders?
